Shi Cuiying / 石翠英

Shi Cuiying (石翠英) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Yanqing District, Beijing. Chinese Human Rights Defenders and Minghui report that she was taken into custody in July 2025 and later received a sentence of three years and nine months.

Those sources also report an earlier August 2020 detention involving Shi and her daughter Guo Meng, followed by Shi’s release to await trial. Minghui describes renewed custody on July 25, 2025; CHRD records the sentence term as ending April 24, 2029 and lists Beijing Municipal Women’s Prison as the facility.

Status and evidence limits

Rights Defense Network Issue 131, dated August 31, 2026, lists 石翠英 in its three-years-nine-months sentence group. The criminal charge, sentencing court, trial date, and current condition are not documented in the located sources.

There is an unresolved discrepancy over which prison carried out the July 25, 2025 seizure: Minghui names Beijing Daxing Prison, while CHRD attributes it to Beijing Municipal Women’s Prison. Both sources report Beijing Municipal Women’s Prison as the place of incarceration. No claim is made beyond those source-attributed accounts.
