Liu Runmiao (刘润苗) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province. Rights Defense Network reports that she was born in 1992.
According to the organization’s case biography, police raided Liu’s home in March 2025 and took her into custody. She was held at the Taiyuan City No. 4 Women’s Detention Center.
Rights Defense Network reports that the Yingze District Court in Taiyuan tried Liu on August 14, 2025 and sentenced her to three years and three months in prison, with a 5,000-yuan fine. The source gives June 2028 as the stated end of the term.
The same source reports that Liu’s mother, Liu Guihua, went into hiding after the arrest and that her father, Liu Wuyun, had died before the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2024. Those family circumstances remain source-attributed.
