Liu Xianju (刘先菊) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Changde City, Hunan Province. Minghui reported her as 64 years old in late 2025.
Minghui reports that Liu was among more than 30 practitioners detained in a Changde police operation on November 30, 2023. The outlet states that she was initially held at a facility in Xin’an Middle School and later transferred to the Baiheshan Detention Center.
On November 12, 2025, according to Minghui, the Taoyuan County Court tried Liu with nine other practitioners and sentenced her to three years and six months in prison plus a 5,000-yuan fine. The outlet reported that appeals were pending at the time of its December 2025 account.
Minghui also reports an earlier case beginning with a December 16, 2009 arrest. Liu was tried by the Wuling District Court on June 11, 2010 and later sentenced to ten years in prison on November 4, 2010.
