Long Jian (龙剑)

Long Jian (龙剑) is a leader of an unregistered house church in Kaili City, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province.

In May 2026, Bitter Winter and ChinaAid reported that Long was one of six Christians formally arrested in the same Kaili case. The others were Wei Yongqiang, He Jinbao, Quan Xiaolong, Cheng Yongbing, and Zhou Guixia.

The outlets report that the six were accused of fraud and of “organizing minors to carry out activities disrupting public order.” Reporting on the case links those accusations to church activities including Sunday school, sharing Christian teachings with children, and family worship. Those descriptions and legal interpretations remain attributed to the cited outlets.

Bitter Winter reports that lawyers retained by the families submitted legal opinions to the Kaili procuratorate but that the arrests were approved without the lawyers being heard. Voice of the Martyrs later reported that the six remained in detention while families pursued legal remedies.

Rights Defense Network Issue 131, dated August 31, 2026, lists 龙剑 among reported current-custody cases.

Status: reported detained awaiting trial as of mid-2026 and listed in custody as of August 31, 2026. The detention facility, trial date, verdict, and sentence were not located and are not inferred.
