Conflict and provenance
The February 2025 medical-parole report conflicts with later reports describing continued imprisonment in late 2025 and 2026. The parole may have been reversed, revoked, interrupted, or reported inaccurately; the available sources do not resolve the question. All detailed case and abuse allegations come from Minghui, a Falun Gong-affiliated outlet. No PRC court judgment or independent third-party account was located.
Namesake exclusion
A different Sun Shuyun in Tanghai County, Hebei, was reported in 2012 as the wife of practitioner Zheng Xiangxing. That person is a separate same-name case and is not merged here.
