Evidence limits
All detailed case reporting comes from Minghui, a Falun Gong-affiliated outlet. No PRC court judgment, state-media report, WOIPFG notice, or independent non-Falun-Gong case report was located. Sources vary slightly on whether the sentence was imposed around February or March 2022, so only “early 2022” is used. The circumstances of Sun Pinjin’s death are the family’s account as reported by Minghui and are not independently verified.
