Tu Ailian (涂爱莲) is a retired primary-school teacher from Xinpu Town, Xiaonan District, Xiaogan City, Hubei Province. Rights Defense Network / 维权网 Issue 131 dated August 31, 2026 lists her among reported in-custody cases in the seven-year fixed-term subgroup.
According to a Minghui victim profile and the Tenzhu political-prisoner database, Tu was detained on September 26, 2019 together with her husband Xu Zhangqing (许章清) and their son Xu Gaorui (许高瑞). The sources report that the family home was searched and that the three were later prosecuted together.
Those sources report that the Anlu City Court tried all three on November 17, 2020 and sentenced them on November 26, 2020: Xu Zhangqing to seven years and nine months, Tu Ailian to seven years, and Xu Gaorui to seven years and six months.
