Wang Chaojie (王朝杰) is a former middle-school teacher from Liaoning who taught in Henan Province and is reported to be serving a prison sentence.
According to the monitoring organization tenchu, Wang Chaojie was born in 1987, is a native of Jianchang County, Liaoning, and taught at Tangyin County No. 1 Middle School in Anyang, Henan. The database records him as a Falun Gong practitioner. It reports that on June 16, 2022, he was arrested by domestic-security police in Wenfeng District and held at the Anyang City Detention Center; that his case was transferred to the Anyang City Court in November 2022; and that in 2023 the court sentenced him to seven years in prison with a 50,000-yuan fine.
