Archive notes

  • The January 8, 2008 release and 2005 sentence reduction rest on CPJ’s reporting citing the Dui Hua Foundation; no original release or reduction instrument has been recovered.
  • Some secondary material compiled in 2008 continued to list Yue as detained; this archive treats that as stale relative to the dated CPJ release report.
  • The existing canonical Chinese form is 岳天祥; a variant 岳天翔 appears in another corpus and is not treated as a separate person.
  • No post-2008 residence, activity, or current-status claim is inferred.
