Zou Huaxiang (邹华香) — Media Profile & Archive
This archive preserves the source record behind the Zou Huaxiang (邹华香) profile: the case of a Weihai City, Shandong Falun Gong practitioner sentenced to three and a half years in October 2023, with her appeal later denied, as documented by Minghui.org reports from 2019 through 2024 and the Rights Defense Network’s August 2026 roster, with provenance and limitations noted. Sources are graded; allegations remain attributed rather than stated as fact.

(Opened and read in full: https://en.minghui.org/html/articles/2023/11/8/212820.html). Dedicated case report on the October 23, 2023 sentence: it covers the November 2022 arrest and home ransacking, the April 2023 re-arrest, and her background, including that she took up Falun Gong in March 1996 after years of poor health and faced frequent detentions thereafter. (Opened and read in full: https://en.minghui.org/html/articles/2023/6/22/209998.html). Dedicated case report on the April 10, 2023 re-arrest: her family lost contact with her, learned from police she had been arrested at home, and she was held at the Wendeng Detention Center while the case officer sought prosecution. It also recounts the two-decade persecution history — the 1999 Beijing appeal, the 2000 arrests, the October 2000–2003 Zhangqiu Forced Labor Camp term, and the 2009/2012/2015/2018/2020 arrests. Source grade: B — dedicated case report, single-community source, partisan.

Records “Ms. Zou Huaxiang’s Appeal Denied”: she was tried by the Rongcheng Court on September 28, 2023, sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year term on October 23, 2023, and an intermediate court affirmed the sentence without a hearing. It reports she was held in the Wendeng No. 2 Detention Center with a transfer to Zhangqiu Prison planned after the Chinese New Year. Corroborating mention for her 2020 detention: it records “Ms. Zou Huaxiang of Weihai City, Shandong Province, was arrested on February 25, 2020” after being reported for speaking about Falun Gong; she was released the same day and her home was ransacked the next day. Source grade: B — corroborating mention, single-community source, partisan.

维权网 — August 2026 monthly report, Issue 131 (August 31, 2026)
维权网《中国大陆在押政治犯、良心犯月度报告(2026年8月31日)第131期(共1638人), mirrored in English and Chinese. Lists 邹华香 / “Zou Huaxiang” in the “sentenced to 3 years and 6 months” band (126-person group). Source for in-custody classification as of August 2026. Source grade: monitoring organization; single-source roster fact.
Source conflicts and limitations
All case facts — arrests, trial, sentence, and detention facilities — rest on a single-community source (Minghui.org) plus one systematic roster (the Rights Defense Network’s Issue 131); no court document, state-media account, or independent international-media corroboration was found. The 3.5-year sentence classification is from the Issue 131 roster band plus Minghui’s case reporting. The 126-person 3.5-year band is a same-sentence-length aggregation, not a joint case; band neighbors are not co-defendants. No contradiction was found between the Minghui reports on her case (all consistent: November 24, 2022 arrest → April 10, 2023 re-arrest → September 28, 2023 trial → October 23, 2023 sentence → appeal denied). The October 2000–2003 Zhangqiu Forced Labor Camp term and the planned transfer to Zhangqiu Prison are distinct facilities and are kept separate. Names of police and prosecuting personnel appear in Minghui’s reporting; public copy names institutions and case facts only, withholding personal contact details. Do-not-merge: 邹华香 is not 邹伟 (the Huancui District official named in Minghui’s case reporting), not 邹巍 (Zou Wei, the Hangzhou activist), and not her surname-index neighbors.
