Wang Junping’s last verified status is released: the case record states she completed her sentence on October 28, 2017. Her current status is unverified. A 2026 roster of mainland political prisoners lists her name without case detail, which is inconsistent with the recorded 2017 release; no record of any detention after 2017 has been located. She should not be presented as currently imprisoned.
