Evidence gaps and contradictions
- Release-date discrepancy (2015 case): PEN Center records October 8, 2023; CHRD and CPPC record November 7, 2023. Minor; not material to the current case.
- Detention date (2025): September 12 (CHRD, citing 维权网) vs. September 15 (CPPC detention-notice image). The profile states “September 2025” without fixing a day.
- The 2025 dispute with stability-maintenance personnel and the in-custody beatings are reported through the family’s lawyer via CPPC; no official account was located.
- No PRC official or state-media coverage of the 2025 case was found (not expected for this case type); no consular involvement known.
