Case chronology
- November–December 2000 — Zhang is detained at the Dalian labor camp, per Minghui’s victim record (i64324).
- June 11, 2017 (evening) — Zhang, Wang Shangjie, Han Jianhai, and Li Jingbo are seized by domestic-security officers and the Minquan police station in connection with the distribution of Falun Gong materials; Zhang’s home is searched. - May 30, 2018 — The Shahekou District People’s Court in Dalian tries the four practitioners. Zhang is sentenced to nine years and six months with a fine — 10,000 yuan per the CHRD record, 20,000 yuan per Minghui reporting.
