This archive collects the source material on the case of Zhao Tianhua (赵天华), a Falun Gong practitioner from Guangdong reported to be serving a seven-year prison sentence.
What is documented. Case records from the Network of Chinese Human Rights Defenders document that Zhao Tianhua, born November 1971, was detained on May 11, 2021, during a raid on the Lingquan Academy school he ran in Boluo County, and sentenced on October 27, 2022, by the Huicheng District court in Huizhou to seven years in prison with a 500,000-yuan fine. Minghui.org’s November 9, 2022, report gives the same dates, sentence, and fine, and adds procedural details: the October 28, 2021, trial, the lawyers’ not-guilty pleas, and the defendants’ appeals. The 维权网 monthly monitoring reports list him in the group of prisoners reported as sentenced to seven years in both the July 31, 2026 edition (Issue 130) and the August 31, 2026 edition (Issue 131). An English-language version of the Minghui report is carried by the Falun Dafa Information Center. The detention location is not publicly documented in any located source.
