This archive collects the documented media record of Du Xinqin (杜欣芹), a retired Ankang City highway-bureau employee and Falun Gong practitioner who was reportedly sentenced to three years in prison. All items below were opened and read by the preparing team; each carries its verification status and provenance.
Case chronology from the media record
- May 2021: Police and neighborhood staff visit her home in Ankang and press her to sign a statement renouncing Falun Gong. (Minghui, Dec 14, 2025 report.)
- February 27–28, 2022: Hanbin District domestic-security police telephone her husband on the evening of the 27th, then arrive at the home on the morning of the 28th (officer Zhao Silin and driver Wang Lei), videotape her, and question her about her movements. (Minghui English brief, Mar 23, 2022; Minghui Chinese report, Dec 14, 2025 — same officers, same details.)
- April–May 2023: A further round of home “visits” and harassment by domestic-security, police-station, and neighborhood personnel. (Minghui, Dec 14, 2025 report.)
- Late 2023: She is taken away and detained by Hanbin District domestic-security police; family members are reportedly told not to hire a lawyer or go public. (Minghui, Dec 14, 2025 report.)
- December 2025: The outlet reports she has been sentenced to three years. (Minghui, Dec 14, 2025 report; consistent with the CHRD PoC record, entered Jan 19, 2026, giving a term to December 2026.)
Media items (verification log)
- Minghui.org — “陕西安康市74岁法轮功学员度欣芹被枉判三年” — December 14, 2025 — minghui.org — Falun Gong-affiliated reporting outlet. The fullest single account: identifies the subject as 度欣芹(杜欣芹), retired Ankang City Highway Bureau employee, describes years of surveillance and the 2021–2023 harassment incidents, and reports the late-2023 arrest and the three-year sentence. Verified (opened and read 2026-10-10).
- Minghui.org (English) — “Additional Persecution News from China – March 10, 2022 (16 Reports)” — March 23, 2022 — en.minghui.org — practitioner-network news digest. The Ankang entry documents the February 28, 2022 home visit in detail (evening phone call, officer Zhao Silin, driver Wang Lei, videotaping, transit-card questions, her refusal to answer); no arrest or detention is described. Verified (opened and read; live-check 2026-10-10).
- CHRD PoC (Prisoner of Conscience Database) — record: 姓名 杜欣芹 / Name “Du Xinqin” — entered 2026-01-19 — accessed via database query, 2026-10-10. Identity note
The December 2025 Minghui article uses the characters 度欣芹 but explicitly parenthesizes them as (杜欣芹), and the body, location, occupation, officers, and dates line up exactly with the 2022 English report’s “Du Xinqin” and with the CHRD record’s 杜欣芹 / Du Xinqin. The five-anchor match (name form, city, district agency, named officers, occupation) identifies one person.
Gaps and contradictions
- The charge and the detention facility are not documented in any public source reviewed; the court that issued the sentence is also unreported.
- The exact arrest date is given only as “late 2023.”
- No English-language coverage of the sentencing beyond the practitioner-network outlet was found; no official-source (court, government, state-media) record was found.
- No name collisions were identified; no wrong-person items.
