This archive preserves the dated media and roster records for 李平 (Li Ping), a Shanghai petitioner whose detention history is documented across independent Chinese-language outlets from 2021 to 2024, and who appears in the Rights Defense Network’s August 2026 political-prisoner roster. Claims remain attributed to their sources rather than stated as established fact. It does not cover the different person 李萍 of Heilongjiang, a Falun Gong practitioner released in December 2024, who is a namesake only.

- December 21, 2021: 民生观察 publishes “上海政府暴力强迁不安置致人跳楼” — in her own account to the outlet, 李平 of 长白二村139号8室, Yangpu, says her home was forcibly demolished on March 30, 2006 with compensation never resolved, and that her son 王泽飞 was critically injured after jumping from a building on December 15, 2021. Source limitations
- The 2024 report of a two-year sentence (with an adjourned appeal whose outcome was not found) is not reconciled in the sources checked with the 2026 roster’s detained-without-sentence listing. Both are recorded as dated source facts; no custody status beyond them is asserted.
- Detention-date sources differ slightly (维权网: July 2, 2023 criminal detention; the 2024 report: held since June 30, 2023) — recorded as attributed, not harmonized.
- The 2017 one-year-five-month sentence account appears only inside the 2024 report’s cited account — marked as such.
- The son’s medical condition is reported at two dates (critical in December 2021; survived with implants per the 2024 report) — recorded as dated reports.
- All mistreatment allegations are the lawyer’s and family’s attributed claims, not independently verified findings.
- A 博讯 archive page (archives/276126) was listed in the case database as a source on the 2023 detention; access was denied (HTTP 403) in this pass, so its content is not confirmed here.
