Research scope / 研究范围

This hub indexes published research on Chinese federalism and local self-government — provincial constitutions, county self-government, fiscal powers, and central–local relations from the late Qing to 1947, with institutional comparisons extending to the ROC (Taiwan). Every work listed below is published in full on this site. Each carries its own source notes, and questions that remain unresolved are stated as such in the text.
