对话团 is the working crosswalk name for student dialogue and negotiation delegation structures active during the April–May 1989 democracy movement. The archive keeps formal dialogue organizations, ad hoc negotiating teams and later retellings separate until direct records establish continuity.
People
Current source-controlled names associated with dialogue delegations include Xiang Xiaojie / 项小吉, Wang Dan / 王丹, Wuer Kaixi / 吾尔开希, Ma Shaofang / 马少方, Wang Chaohua / 王超华, Chai Ling / 柴玲 and additional representatives still being recovered.
Role
Dialogue structures sought communication or negotiation with government representatives and intersected with, but were not identical to, the Beijing student federation, campus autonomous organizations or the hunger-strike movement. The May 18 dialogue is one major event node requiring person-by-person and delegation-by-delegation source control.
Evidence status
Existence of student dialogue delegations: established. Whether all named dialogue groups constitute one continuing organization, the full 13-person roster, exact offices and institutional boundaries: still under verification.
