Status: Not currently known imprisoned and publicly active as a lawyer in mainland China in 2026. Canadian Press reported Mo Shaoping speaking from China on February 9, 2026 as counsel in the Schellenberg retrial.

A separate report of a June 22, 2025 exit restriction remains secondary evidence pending stronger independent or primary confirmation; it is not treated as proof of a continuing 2026 travel restriction.
