Archive Governance & Publication Standards

The Free China Research Archive uses source control, provenance review, version history, correction procedures, and clear distinctions among verified facts, participant testimony, disputed claims, official positions, and editorial analysis.

Participation and review

  • Contributors may provide memoirs, documents, corrections, source leads, and research assistance.
  • Editors record provenance and verification status before publication.
  • Disputed historical claims are labeled and cross-examined against available evidence.
  • Privacy, consent, copyright, safety, and source-protection concerns are reviewed before release.
  • Corrections and material revisions should remain traceable through version history.
