According to Minghui, Ai Mingxia lived in Jubaoshan Town, Changling County, Songyuan, Jilin Province, and practiced Falun Gong. Minghui reported that police arrested her at home on April 19, 2023, transferred her to Songyuan City Detention Center the following day, and that the Changling County Court sentenced her to four years in prison in late August 2023. Minghui further reported a transfer to Changchun City Women’s Prison on March 4, 2024.
Minghui reported that officers confiscated printing supplies and other belongings and that local authorities pressured a lawyer retained by her family to withdraw. These allegations have not been independently corroborated with a court judgment, case docket or official detention record.
