Chow Hang-tung is a Hong Kong human-rights lawyer, former vice-chairperson of the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China, and long-time June Fourth vigil organizer. Amnesty International documents her detention from September 2021 and national-security prosecution connected to Alliance activities.
Amnesty reported in August 2026 that Hong Kong’s High Court convicted Chow and Lee Cheuk-yan of “inciting subversion of state power.” Sentencing was still pending at the time of the Drive research audit.
