Ryan Law Wai-kwong is the former editor-in-chief of Apple Daily and is currently imprisoned in Hong Kong.

CPJ reports that Law was sentenced on February 9, 2026 to 10 years for conspiracy to collude with foreign forces after pleading guilty in 2022. CPJ says he was arrested on June 16, 2021 and has remained behind bars since then.
