Zhou Fengsuo was a Tsinghua University physics student and a participant in Beijing student organizing during the 1989 democracy movement. Contemporary sources and later human-rights documentation connect him to the Beijing Students Autonomous Federation and place him among the twenty-one student figures sought by authorities after June Fourth.
He was arrested near Xi’an in June 1989 and remained imprisoned until 1990. Later reporting and first-person accounts discuss his detention and release; exact prison-transfer and intake records remain archival targets and are kept distinct from later recollection.
In later years Zhou became active in overseas human-rights and democracy organizations, including Humanitarian China and related public-history and youth-education work. The P1 archive currently controls fourteen Chinese and English media records, while original BSAF, broadcast-station and prison records remain enrichment priorities.
