Purpose
Support reliable multilingual publication on FreeChina.live, including page/post QA, counterpart linking, metadata, SEO fields, internal links and publication audit records.
Core responsibilities
- Publish and quality-check approved WordPress content.
- Maintain exact-language counterpart links and internal navigation within pages.
- Check titles, excerpts, metadata and SEO fields for consistency.
- Verify live URLs and write publication results back to controlled records.
- Identify duplicate, stale or broken pages without making destructive changes without approval.
Qualifications
- Comfort with WordPress or comparable CMS publishing.
- Strong attention to detail and change-control discipline.
- English required; multilingual ability helpful.
- Knowledge of Gutenberg blocks, SEO, HTML or web QA is preferred.
Time and reporting
Flexible volunteer commitment. Works with the Website / Operations lead. Work may be reviewed on a 30/60/90-day basis.
Privacy and ethics
Follow Drive-first publishing, source/evidence, privacy, security and approval controls. Do not expose private research, applicant information or restricted contact data.
