Media Profile & Archive — Chen Faqing (陈法庆). This archive preserves the source basis, identification method, and evidentiary limits behind the Person Profile. It supports Chen Faqing (陈法庆).
Person profile
Chen Faqing (陈法庆) — listed in the Issue 131 roster (August 31, 2026) among 259 people detained without having been sentenced, in the report’s Zhejiang six-person group. No charge, detention date, facility, or case history publicly documented. Profile covers: the roster listing, the Chinese-character identification method, the Zhejiang group context, and the searches that returned no further reporting.
Identification method
The roster’s English edition lists “Chen Faqing” with no Chinese characters. The Chinese edition of the same report was read directly: its “羁押未判,共计259人” (detained-not-yet-sentenced, 259 people) section lists a Zhejiang six-person group — 陈法庆、黄益梓、李永峰、邵祝敏、麻显士、黄琳婷 — while the English edition lists “Chen Faqing, Huang Yizi, Li Yongfeng, Shao Zhumin, Ma Xianshi, Huang Linting”. All six names align position-for-position; 陈法庆 occupies the “Chen Faqing” position. The report’s own name index independently places 陈法庆 between 陈冬梅 and 陈方华, matching “Chen Dongmei, Chen Faqing, Chen Fanghua” in the English index. This positional identification, from the report’s own two editions, is the sole basis for the Chinese characters — no independent biographical source confirms them. Note the roster’s pinyin “Faqing” here resolves to 法庆 (qìng), not the initially searched 法清 (qīng).
Source chronology
- August 31, 2026 — Rights Defense Network / 维权网, Issue 131 monthly report, “中国大陆在押政治犯、良心犯月度报告(第131期,共1638人)” (Chinese and English editions). The report’s “羁押未判,共计259人” (detained-not-yet-sentenced, 259 people) section lists a Zhejiang six-person group; the Chinese edition’s first name is 陈法庆, positionally matching “Chen Faqing” in the English edition. The report classifies its entries as political prisoners and prisoners of conscience currently in custody (dated source claim). No individual case detail is given for this entry.
- September 2026 (research). Bounded searches for 陈法庆 and the variant 陈法清 across rights-defense reporting, news archives, and prisoner databases (维权网, CHRD, Minghui, Epoch Times/NTD, RFA/VOA; keywords 判刑, 维权, 拘留, 未判, 浙江; co-detainee-name searches) returned no indexed reporting on this person. A tenchu search-endpoint guess failed and was not retried; site-scoped search of tenchu.org for both character forms returned no results.
Source grading
- Issue 131 report (Chinese + English editions) — the roster source itself; the only evidence. High for the listing (name position, Zhejiang group, detained-not-yet-sentenced classification as of August 31, 2026); it provides no case detail. The Chinese-character identification rests on the report’s own positional consistency, verified by direct reading of both editions.
- Negative search results — bounded searches returned nothing; this establishes absence of indexed reporting, not absence of a case.
Conflicts and caveats
- The Chinese characters 陈法庆 are positionally identified, not independently biographically confirmed. If a later source gives a different character form, the profile must be corrected.
- The forms 陈法清 and any other Faqing homophones are unverified as detained persons and must not be merged into this record on pinyin similarity alone.
- The Zhejiang six-person detained group also contains 邵祝敏 (Shao Zhumin); that is a different person. Regional groupings in the report’s detained section are by region, not by case.
- “Detained-not-yet-sentenced” is the report’s classification of the group as of August 31, 2026; it does not establish a charge, a detention date, or current status beyond that date.
Evidentiary limits
This is a single-source profile: the Issue 131 roster listing and its Chinese edition. No detention notice, charge, court record, news report, or family account was located. The profile is published as an honest stub-strengthening so the existing thin page carries the verified Chinese name and the limits of what is known — not as a completed biography.
