Conflicts and limitations

A 2001 report repeated a rumor that Dai had received a ten-year sentence. Later reporting consistently describes an eight-year sentence and a December 2008 release; this archive does not treat the earlier ten-year figure as established. Chinese characters for her name remain unresolved. No criminal code article or named Henan sentencing court is asserted here, and no sentence-end or release date is independently calculated. Allegations of mistreatment are presented only as Minghui claims.
