# Dou Changying (窦长营)
Dou Changying (窦长营) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Xinfatun village in Dongfa Township, Zhaodong City, Heilongjiang Province. According to reports from the Falun Gong reporting network Minghui.org, he began practicing Falun Gong in 1997, was repeatedly detained after the nationwide crackdown on the practice began in 1999, served a five-year prison term in Hulan Prison beginning around 2011, and was arrested again in May 2023 and given a second five-year prison term.
