- December 31, 2024: Yushu City Domestic Security officers seized Fan, according to Minghui.
- January 23, 2025: Formal arrest warrants were reportedly issued for Fan and three other practitioners.
- August 18, 2025: Dehui City Court sentenced Fan to five years and six months and fined him 10,000 yuan. Minghui reported that trial details were unknown.
- December 2, 2025: A January 2026 Minghui report states that Fan was transferred to Jilin City Prison.
