Fu Renjiang (付仁江)
Fu Renjiang (付仁江) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Huadian City, Jilin Province, who was arrested in February 2025 and sentenced to five and a half years in prison. He is listed among political prisoners in current custody in the August 2026 monthly roster published by a Chinese rights-defense monitoring network.
Born in early 1964, Fu is from Sumigou Township in Huadian City. He began practicing Falun Gong in 1997. According to a prisoner-of-conscience case record maintained by Chinese rights defenders, his adherence to the practice led to two terms of re-education through labor and two previous prison sentences, totaling twelve and a half years of imprisonment.
On February 11, 2025, Fu was arrested by officers of the Qixin police station of the Huadian City Public Security Bureau and taken to the Huadian City Detention Center. He was subsequently placed under criminal detention, formally arrested, and indicted. The Huadian City Court sentenced him to five years and six months in prison; the specific charge has not been reported. His term is recorded as running until August 10, 2030. On January 21, 2026, he was transferred to Jilin Prison to serve his sentence.
Fu remains listed as in custody in the most recent available prisoner roster (August 2026). No court judgment or other official procedural document for this case has been located; the case details below are drawn from rights-defense monitoring records and are attributed accordingly.
Not to be confused with Fu Wenjie (付文杰), the roster neighbor with a similar name — a different person.
