Gao Wenlong (高文龙) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Jinning District, Kunming City, Yunnan Province. Rights Defense Network’s Issue 131 roster dated August 31, 2026 lists “Gao Wenlong” in its reported in-custody group for three-and-a-half-year sentences.
Case
According to Minghui.org, a Falun Gong-affiliated publication, Gao was 59 at sentencing. Minghui reports that he was arrested at home on November 1, 2022 by officers of the Anning City Domestic Security Office and Jinning District police, that his home was searched, and that he was held at the Songming County Detention Center before transfer to the Anning City Detention Center on December 5, 2022.
Minghui reports that the Anning City Court held a virtual hearing in May 2023 for Gao and co-defendant Gao Peifa and sentenced each to three and a half years. It also reports that their families were not notified of the hearing. No court judgment or official custody document was located.
