Guo Chunfang (郭春芳) is a former elementary-school teacher from Huima Town, Daying County, Suining City, Sichuan Province, and a Falun Gong practitioner. Monitoring sources report that she is serving a four-year prison sentence imposed in 2025.
Earlier detentions
Minghui reports that Guo was detained in 2001 while distributing Falun Gong materials and later held at Nanmusi Women’s Forced Labor Camp in 2002. It reports a further arrest in February 2006, a five-year sentence later that year, imprisonment at Longquanyi Women’s Prison, and release in March 2011. Allegations of prolonged standing, sleep deprivation, solitary confinement and other mistreatment remain source-attributed.
2024 arrest and 2025 sentence
Minghui reported that Guo was arrested on October 14, 2024 with other practitioners at a shared rental residence in Suining. Around late April 2025, a local court reportedly sentenced her to four years in prison. A later report states that she was admitted to Sichuan Province Women’s Prison on July 12, 2025.
