He Qingxiang / 何清香

He Qingxiang (何清香) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Meizhou City, Guangdong Province. Rights Defense Network Issue 131, dated August 31, 2026, lists her among reported current-custody cases in its six-year-sentence subgroup.

Reported case history

Minghui reports that He Qingxiang and her husband Tu Qingguang were arrested in Qingxi Town on November 23, 2010 while talking to people about Falun Gong. On November 25, police escorted them back to Meizhou and searched their home. A later Minghui feature reports that both received three-and-a-half-year sentences in 2011 and that He served her term in Guangdong Province Women’s Prison; an earlier Minghui digest instead reported three years for He and three and a half years for her husband. That discrepancy remains unresolved.

Minghui further reports that He was arrested again at home on January 26, 2021 while her husband was still serving another prison term. She appeared before the Mei County District Court on July 20 and September 23, 2021. Her lawyer entered a not-guilty plea. On November 5, 2021, Minghui reported that He was sentenced to six years in prison and fined 60,000 yuan.
