Jiang Dexin / 姜德新

Jiang Dexin (姜德新) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Huanren County, Liaoning Province. A Falun Gong-affiliated monitoring organization reports that he was taken from his home on October 26, 2024 and tried on July 4, 2025 by the Shuangqiao District Court in Chengde, Hebei Province.

2024–2025 case

According to the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong, Jiang was first held in Fushun and then transferred to Chengde. The organization reports that his case moved through the Shuangqiao District Procuratorate and Court and that at the July 4, 2025 hearing his lawyer entered a not-guilty plea while Jiang disputed the prosecution’s case.

Earlier reported imprisonment

The same organization reports two earlier prison terms connected to Jiang’s Falun Gong practice: eight years beginning in 2000 and six years beginning in 2013. It also alleges forced labor, beatings, electric-baton shocks and other mistreatment during those periods. These claims remain source-attributed and were not independently verified.

Status and evidence limits

Rights Defense Network Issue 131, dated August 31, 2026, lists Jiang Dexin / 姜德新 among reported in-custody prisoners in a nine-year-sentence group. No separate sentencing record, sentencing date, criminal charge or current prison location was located. The nine-year figure is therefore presented only as the roster’s dated classification, not as a fully documented judgment.
