Jin Xiaofeng (金晓峰) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Dadong District, Shenyang, Liaoning Province. Falun Gong-affiliated reporting states that he was arrested in July 2024 and sentenced in March 2025 to three years in prison.
2024 arrest and prosecution
The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong reports that Jin was taken into custody on July 13, 2024 near Baoli Huayuan in Shenhe District, Shenyang, together with Zhao Guiping. The organization reports that his car and home were searched and that he was later formally arrested in August 2024.
According to the same source, the case was transferred for prosecution in December 2024 after a period of supplementary investigation.
Sentence
WOIPFG reports that the Dadong District Court heard the case on February 20, 2025 and on March 31 sentenced Jin to three years in prison and fined him 10,000 yuan. The organization reports that Zhao Guiping received a five-year sentence in the same proceeding.
