Jing Guihua (敬桂花) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Rights-monitoring records report that she was detained in July 2024 and sentenced in September 2025 to three years and two months in prison with a 20,000-yuan fine.
2024 detention
The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong reports that Jing was detained on July 8, 2024 by police in Chengdu’s Qingyang District along with several other Falun Gong practitioners. The organization reports that the group was held in Chengdu while their cases proceeded.
2025 sentence
According to the same source, the Qingyang District Court tried the group on September 19, 2025. Jing was reported sentenced to three years and two months in prison and fined 20,000 yuan.
Name and evidence limits
The English Issue 131 roster lists “Jing Guihua” in its three-years-two-months group. The corresponding Chinese edition places 敬桂花 in the matching position, and the independent case notice also uses 敬桂花. The working roster form 景贵华 is therefore treated as a transcription variant rather than the canonical Chinese name.
The formal criminal charge, current detention facility and post-August-2026 status are not established in the sources reviewed. Rights Defense Network Issue 131 lists her among reported current prisoners as of August 31, 2026.
