Li Qingsheng (李庆胜) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Yongling Town, Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun, Liaoning Province. Falun Gong-affiliated reporting states that he was sentenced in December 2024 to two years in prison and fined 2,000 yuan.
2023–2025 case
Minghui and the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong report that Li was arrested on November 14, 2023 after discussing or distributing Falun Gong materials. A detention center reportedly refused to admit him because of high blood pressure, and he was released on bail.
The case later proceeded through the Shuncheng District Procuratorate and Court. A home-based video hearing was reported on November 14, 2024. Minghui dates the two-year sentence to December 3, 2024, while WOIPFG gives December 6. The day-level discrepancy remains unresolved.
After additional failed attempts to take him into custody for medical reasons, sources report that he was taken to Xinbin County Detention Center on August 26, 2025 and transferred to Jinzhou Prison on September 13, 2025.
Status and evidence limits
Rights Defense Network Issue 131 lists 李庆胜 among reported current prisoners in its two-year-sentence group as of August 31, 2026. His exact birth year and the exact sentence day are not stated because sources differ. Current facility claims are limited to the dated reports.
