Li Xia / 李霞
Li Xia (李霞), born in 1964, is a retired worker of the Linshu County Power Plant in Linshu County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, and a Falun Gong practitioner.
According to reports by the rights-information site Weiquanwang and by Minghui, she continued practicing Falun Gong after 1999 and was detained by Linshu County “610” office and domestic-security police on several occasions, including a detention in November 2007 and another in November 2015.
On July 3, 2023, she was arrested at her home by Linshu County domestic-security police and held at the Linyi City Detention Center (Hedong District). She was criminally detained, formally arrested, and prosecuted. On October 19, 2023, she stood trial and was sentenced to seven years in prison; the specific charge was not recorded. The recorded sentence runs through July 2, 2030. The Minghui report additionally names the Linshu County court officials and police officers said to have been involved in her case.
