Lin Jinli (林金丽) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, who was reported sentenced to four years in prison in 2019 and again to three years and six months in June 2026 after a 2025 arrest in Yangzhou, Jiangsu.
Minghui reports that Lin was arrested by officers from the Lihua Police Station in Harbin’s Daowai District in April 2019 while walking her child to school and that her home was searched. It reported a four-year sentence in October 2019 and transfer to Heilongjiang Women’s Prison in January 2020. An early English report called Lin “Mr.”; later Minghui reports and a Chinese-language case notice identify her as female, so this profile follows the corroborated female identification.
In August 2025, according to Minghui, Lin was arrested while visiting Yangzhou with her daughter. The outlet reports that her daughter was released after four days and that Lin remained detained.
A July 2026 notice by the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) reports three hearings in the Guangling District Court on January 27, May 20, and June 2, 2026. The organization describes procedural restrictions during those hearings; those claims remain source-attributed.
WOIPFG reports that on June 24, 2026, the Guangling District Court sentenced Lin to three years and six months in prison and fined her 10,000 yuan. The notice, published July 11, 2026, reported her still in custody.
Evidence limits: no PRC court judgment or official detention record was located. The exact release date from Lin’s earlier four-year term is not reported and is not inferred.
