Liu Huixia (刘会侠) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Qishan County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province. Rights Defense Network identifies her as a retired employee of the Qishan County Water Bureau and reports that she was about 65 years old in 2025.
According to Rights Defense Network, Liu was detained at her home in Hengli Garden, Qishan County, on May 22, 2024. The organization reports that she was initially held at the Qishan County Detention Center and later transferred through detention facilities in Meixian and Fufeng counties.
Rights Defense Network reports that on January 14, 2025 the Qishan County Court sentenced Liu to six years and three months in prison, with a stated term through August 21, 2030.
Minghui’s Shaanxi weekly reports the same May 2024 arrest and gives an earlier history of detention and harassment, including a one-year labor-camp term beginning in 2002 and later detentions in 2014, 2017, and 2018. Those historical details remain attributed to the outlet.
