Person profile: Liu Yuhong (刘玉红)

This archive preserves reporting on Liu Yuhong’s prosecution with Jin Shuying, Liu Xing, and Dong Xiurong in Beijing’s Daxing District.

July 2022 — police sweep

Minghui reports that Liu was among practitioners detained in a Beijing police operation involving at least 30 people. Liu and the three other Daxing defendants were arrested between July 25 and 27 and later held at the Daxing District Detention Center.

April–December 2023 — sentence correction

An April 2023 Minghui report gave Liu a two-year term. A December update states that families later confirmed the court had provided false “light sentence” information and that Liu’s actual sentence was four years and six months with a 5,000-yuan fine. The later report supersedes the earlier figure.
