July–December 2020 — arrest and trial
Minghui reports that Lu and five other practitioners were arrested on July 9, 2020 and tried together at the Ranghulu District Court on December 15, 2020.
December 2020–April 2021 — sentence and appeal
A Minghui follow-up states that Lu and Wang Yuhong each received seven years in prison and a 70,000-yuan fine, with verdicts received on December 23, 2020. The same report says the Daqing City Intermediate Court rejected their appeals on April 2, 2021.
Possible 2018 sighting
A separate 2018 Minghui item describes a “Mr. Lu Chaobo” briefly detained with a sister at Daqing West Station. Because the gender styling conflicts with the core records, that event is treated only as a possible same-name sighting and is not merged into the person timeline.
Evidence limits
The core case record comes from a single reporting lineage, Minghui. No official court judgment, independent human-rights report, or verified Chinese name characters were located. Current status after the April 2021 appeal rejection remains unknown.
