A May 26, 2025 Minghui report records that nine Kunming practitioners — 刘翠仙 (73), 刘晓萍 (68), 马玲 (68), 杨惠芳 (57), 郑翠兰 (78), 张秀珍 (66), 李焕珍 (69), 朱永珍 (72), and 毕晟 (male, 62) — were tried by the Xishan District Court on March 26, 2025, and sentenced in early May 2025. Li Huanzhen received three years with a RMB 10,000 fine. 3. Referenced-but-unresolved reports
The Minghui report references two earlier reports on the same operation — 《昆明棕树营派出所推动构陷九位法轮功学员》(December 27, 2024) and 《昆明市公安”6.6专案”绑架25名法轮功学员》(July 21, 2024) — whose URLs were not located in this pass; they are recorded as a gap for future archive completion.
Source provenance and limitations
The two detailed case records (Sources 1 and 2) derive from Falun Gong–aligned documentation networks (Minghui; CHRD’s PoC database). They are mutually consistent on every reported anchor (age, city, arrest date and operation, trial date and court, co-defendants, sentence, fine). No PRC official or state-media record of the case has been located; no international wire-service coverage has been located. The appeal outcome and current detention facility are not documented in the located records.
