Qin Sifeng — Beijing Lampstand Church Pastor

Qin Sifeng is a pastor of Beijing Lampstand Church serving a multi-year prison sentence after a 2023 conviction for “illegal business operations” in a case concerning the church’s printing and distribution of hymnals and theological materials.

In July 2022, Qin and church worker Su Minjun were arrested in Zibo, Shandong, during a church trip and were held at the Zibo City Detention Center. Religious-freedom monitoring organizations reported that authorities treated the church’s use of its own printing equipment for hymnbooks and Christian materials as unauthorized publishing activity.

Qin and other defendants were tried in April 2023. The exact sentence length remains unresolved: ChinaAid reported five and a half years, while Bitter Winter reported five years. No public court judgment was located, so neither figure is treated as conclusively established.
