She Xingmin (佘兴敏, per the CHRD Prisoners of Conscience Database; the Rights Defense Network’s Issue 131 roster lists the name in Latin script only) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Dazhu County, Sichuan Province, reported to be in custody as of August 31, 2026 in the Rights Defense Network (维权网) Issue 131 roster of reported current-custody cases.
According to Minghui.org, Ms. She was arrested on the evening of October 13, 2024, while speaking with people about Falun Gong at a public plaza in Zhuyang Town, Dazhu County, together with fellow practitioners Ms. Yu Shenghua and Ms. Luo Fuqiong. Their homes were ransacked, and they were taken to the Dazhou City Detention Center. On May 15, 2025, Ms. She, Ms. Yu, Ms. Peng Zuyin, and Ms. Luo were tried by the Dazhou City Court. Ms. She was convicted — the date of conviction and the charge were not reported — and sentenced to two years and three months’ imprisonment with a fine of 4,000 yuan. On August 27, 2025, she was admitted to the Sichuan Province Women’s Prison in Chengdu. The CHRD Prisoners of Conscience Database lists 佘兴敏 as serving a fixed-term sentence with a listed release date of January 11, 2027 (entry updated October 15, 2025).
Minghui.org also reported that a Dazhu County native named She Xingmin was arrested on September 10, 2019, at a fur store in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, and held at the Dazhou City Detention Center; the outcome of that 2019 detention has not been documented in available sources, and the link between the 2019 and 2024 cases is probable but not confirmed.
Not known from available sources: her age, the charge of conviction, and her current condition. This page will be updated as further verifiable information becomes available.
