Tian Baochang (田宝昌) is a Falun Gong practitioner from Shenyang, Liaoning Province. Minghui reports that he was arrested on July 10, 2019 during a police sweep and later sentenced to seven years and six months in prison with a 50,000-yuan fine.
According to Minghui, Tian was arrested at home at about 8:30 p.m. on July 10, 2019 and held at the Heping District Detention Center. The Heping District Court heard his case on November 26, 2019. Minghui reports that Tian dismissed a court-appointed lawyer and defended himself.
The same outlet reports that Tian was later sentenced to seven and a half years in prison, fined 50,000 yuan, and transferred to Jinzhou Prison. Rights Defense Network / 维权网 Issue 131 dated August 31, 2026 lists 田宝昌 / Tian Baochang in the seven-years-and-six-months fixed-term subgroup.
