Tian Xingbao (田杏宝), also rendered 田杏保 in some earlier sentencing compilations, is a Falun Gong practitioner from Shenzhou City, Hebei Province. Rights Defense Network / 维权网 Issue 131 dated August 31, 2026 lists him among reported in-custody cases in the ten-year fixed-term subgroup.
Minghui reports that Tian was arrested on May 17, 2018 after surveillance footage allegedly showed him putting up Falun Gong posters. The outlet reports that police searched his home the next day and seized a printer, paper, and cash.
According to Minghui, the Anping County Court sentenced Tian on March 20, 2019 to ten years in prison and fined him 50,000 yuan. It reports that he appealed to the Hengshui City Intermediate Court, which upheld the verdict on June 8, 2019, and that he was transferred to Baoding Prison on June 17, 2019.
Later prison reporting
Minghui reported in March 2026 that Tian remained at Baoding Prison and that his family had been denied visits and had received no calls from him for six months. These details remain source-attributed and are not independently verified here.
