WOIPFG reports that Wang’s family learned on April 21, 2025 that she had been sentenced to four years in prison and fined 16,000 yuan; that her appeal was rejected by the Baoji Intermediate Court; and that she was transferred to Shaanxi Women’s Prison on June 20, 2025.
Evidence limits
WOIPFG’s individual and group notices give her age as 62 and 61 respectively, a minor discrepancy preserved here. The same organization also reports earlier detentions and mistreatment; those claims are not independently verified. No official court judgment or independent mainstream-media report was located. No release date is inferred.
