Wang Ruiling (王瑞玲), born in 1952, is a Falun Gong practitioner from Zunhua City, Hebei Province. In some sources her name appears as 王瑞伶; a 2023 investigation notice renders the name as 王瑞伶(玲), linking the variant forms.
Case reporting says Wang and her husband were detained at home on July 6, 2019 during a mass-arrest operation in Zunhua. The Zunhua City Court sentenced Wang in November 2020 to eight years in prison and a CNY 10,000 fine; her husband received five years. Their appeal was rejected by the Tangshan Intermediate Court. Wang was reported transferred to Hebei Women’s Prison on April 15, 2021.
A 2025 investigation notice reported serious abuse in prison, including beatings, forced feeding and medication, eye injuries, and denial of family visits. Those allegations are attributed to the investigation notice and have not been independently verified.
The Rights Defense Network’s Issue 131 report dated August 31, 2026 lists Wang in custody in the eight-year sentence group. A prisoners-of-conscience database records a term through July 5, 2027.
