Wang Wenjie (王文杰) is listed in the Rights Defense Network / 维权网 Issue 131 monthly report dated August 31, 2026 in the “sentenced to 3 years and 4 months” group of eleven people. The report classifies its roster as political prisoners and prisoners of conscience currently in custody.
The Chinese edition places 王文杰 second in that eleven-person group, between 谭得志 (Tan Dezhi) and 隋丽先 (Sui Lixian). The English edition lists “Wang Wenjie” in the matching position. That bilingual positional match is the sole basis for the Chinese-character identification; no independent biographical source located for this profile confirms the characters.
No charge, arrest date, trial record, court, custody facility, or individual case history was found in the located public sources. This profile therefore does not infer those facts.
